Park under the 'Red Dragon Pirate Cruises' sign and pull all the way forward to the front of the lane or behind the vehicle in front of you.  After you have parked, walk to the right side of the building under the palm palapa to check in with our Front Desk and obtain your boarding pass for your group.  Our PARKING ATTENDANT will be guiding everyone into the CHAINED OFF area that is PIRATE PARKING ONLY.  Need a visual? We can accommodate just about any person with disabilities as our crew can help get them aboard safely. No power wheelchairs. Please call for more information 361-749-2469. 

Clean restrooms (heads) are available on board the Red Dragon. One for Mates and one for Wenches.

What a silly question!  YES! Of course, the only thing pirates drink is RUM, duh.  Our bar, The Slurp and Burp Pub offers an array of kid friendly, adult beverages and snacks and souvenirs!  Check out our menu HERE.  The Slurp & Burp Pub accepts cash, card & Apple Pay.

Unless conditions pose a safety risk, we still go out. If we have to cancel due to weather conditions, we will reschedule you on the next available trip that is convenient to you. If a reschedule does not fit your plans, we will refund your tickets.

Keep in mind, when the island is busy, commute times may be heavily increased. Traffic on Highway 361 as well as the wait in the ferry line may increase your commute up to two hours or more. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY AS OUR CANCELLATION POLICY WILL NOT BE ALTERED FOR ANY REASON.

Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. 

You may reschedule your booking up to 60 minutes prior to your trip’s scheduled time without incurring a re-booking fee. A reschedule within 60 minutes of your trip’s scheduled time will result in a $20 per person re-booking fee. There will be no refunds or re-booking allowed for no call no shows.

The pirates of the Red Dragon in Port Aransas, Texas are the scurviest lot of scallywags and hooligans you’ll find in these waters, matey!

These plunderers, pillagers and looters spend most of their time hoarding treasure, drinking rum and shaking their fists at the decent people of Port Aransas, TX and nearby shipping channels. If there are ever any pimiento cheese sandwiches or corn nuts anywhere in the area the pirates will demand that the nice citizens surrender these goods and the pirates then proceed to eat them right in front of their victims. One citizen who prefers to remain anonymous exclaims, “Someone has to stop these guys! My wife spent a good part of the morning making those sandwiches for our fishing trip and the pirates demanded that we surrender our ice chests and they ate all of the pimento cheese sandwiches right in front of her while she wept uncontrollably. I also lost two packs of corn nuts to the dread pirate Quartermaster Zeke. This all might sound cheesy but it’s also nuts!”

A spokesperson for the local authorities including the Coast Guard and Homeland Security vessel says the Red Dragon is a force they are not prepared to deal with as the combination of the Red Dragon’s might and Captain Fury’s ruthlessness is just too overwhelming. “We wish there was something we could do to stop them,” explained a spokesperson who would also like to remain anonymous.
