The Red Dragon pirate ship made her maiden voyage in Port Aransas in the year 2014. Under Captain Fury's navigation and his crew, she has been pillaging and plundering since.
The ship is a Spanish Galleon replica that is 75 feet long with a 20 foot beam and weighs 80 gross tons! The tallest of her four masts extends 57 feet above the waterline, or, roughly the height of a five story building.
When her canons roar, you'll think you're in the middle of a 17th century naval battle.
She mounts 10 'cannon's,' fired by computer with a full range of audio and visual effects. Due to her galleon hull configuration, the Red Dragon is sea sweet and rides like a luxury liner, but she is also nimble, she can turn on her own radius. She can execute a 360 degree turn with her mainmast fixed to a position.
Although she will seldom venture out of sight of land, the Red Dragon is equipped with state of the art navigational electronics which include radar, sonar and a very sophisticated GPS system.
Every convenience has been considered aboard this mighty vessel. Modern men's and women's restrooms (heads), a full-service bar and interactive entertainment to make your cruise a truly unforgettable adventure.

Born on a small island off the coast of California, Captain Fury was raised to be a fisherman. His father taught him the ropes - literally...and he quickly became one of the best fishermen west... and east, of the Mississippi. By 20 years of age, Fury was already Captain to a small fleet of boats and a local soapbox racing team.
Known for his tenacious attitude, gruff exterior, and short temper, he earned the moniker Capt. Fury. One day, a rival fishery dared to challenge Fury in a fishing contest. Challenge Accepted! Fury and his crew sailed the ocean for weeks with a treacherous target in mind... The elusive Megalodon!
After what seemed an endless hunt, Fury found what he was looking for. With a hook as big as an anchor, he set into the massive fish. For days they grappled, neither giving an inch. His crew begged him to cut the line and accept defeat, but Fury never gives up. With one giant leap the fish ripped Fury right off the boat and into the abyss! His crew was so upset, they vowed to write off the Briny Deep for good and spend their days ho-humming in the dirt with the landlubbers.
What Fury's old crew had never discovered, he survived! He washed up on the shores of Port Aransas three weeks later with his fishing rod in one hand and a Megalodon tooth in the other. As luck would have it, the Red Dragon Crew was in pursuit of a Captain that could match their own verocity....no wait....furiosity (grrrrr)! Once the crew's ears fell victim to his epic story, they knew he was just the scallywag for the job!
